The Toronto Maple Leafs are doing their best to eliminate COVID-19's effect on the upcoming 2021-22 campaign.
According to Leafs forward Mitch Marner, the club is 100% vaccinated entering the season. General manager Kyle Dubas said earlier this week that the team was fully vaccinated.
About 85% of NHL players had been fully vaccinated by August. It's unclear how much that number has changed, if at all.
The NHL Players Association is encouraging players to get vaccinated and warned about potential pay losses during the upcoming season if they don't get the shot.
