The University of Tulsa added Missouri transfer Anthony Watkins to its roster today, the school announced. The 6'0" running back comes to Tulsa following his true freshman season with the Tigers.
Watkins redshirted the 2019 season at Missouri but did play in one game when he rushed six times for 19 yards against Southeast Missouri State.
Watkins garnered all-state accolades at South Hills High School in Fort Worth, Texas, where he played multiple positions. He was a four-star recruit and the nation's No. 34 prospect at running back according to ESPN. Rivals.com and 247Sports.com had Watkins listed as a three-star prospect.
