Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Michal Neuvirth has been released from the hospital, the team announced on Sunday. Neuvirth collapsed on the ice during a break in play when the Flyers were in action against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night. He was stretchered off the ice and taken straight to the hospital. According to Flyers forward Colin McDonald, Neuvirth was not feeling well prior to the game but decided to play because other the team’s other goalie, Steve Mason, was out due to sickness.
