Michigan State center Xavier Tillman is entering his name in the 2020 NBA Draft, yet keeping the door open to return to East Lansing, he announced Tuesday.

After a junior season that saw him earn second-team All-Big Ten and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year honors, Tillman wants to gauge the NBA’s interest in him before making a final decision. By not signing with an agent, Tillman is allowed to go through a portion of the pre-draft process, gather feedback and choose whether he wants to remain in the draft pool or go back to MSU for his senior year.

Tillman posted the following message on social media announcing his decision: “I would like to first thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for allowing me to play the game I love.
