It has been expected to be all but a formality for a while now, but Michigan finally confirmed the addition of USC running back transfer Ty Isaac. “We’re excited that Ty has decided to join the Michigan Football family,” said Michigan head coach Brady Hoke in a statement. “I know it was important for him to get back to the Midwest to be closer to his mom and family, so I think it’s a great fit for everyone. Ty’s a big back with really good speed and catches the ball extremely well out of the backfield. He certainly adds depth and competition to a position we feel very confident about.” Isaac made the decision to transfer in May and the Big Ten always seemed to the be the most likely destination.
