Michael Young will be bidding for his eighth All-Star Game appearance this season, and Josh Hamilton will by vying for a fifth consecutive start. Both were on the American League ballot that was revealed Thursday. Young is among the contenders to start at designated hitter. He was the runner-up last year to Boston slugger David Ortiz. While Young said that he has enjoyed all seven of his All-Star Game trips, he said that it's too soon into the season to be thinking about the July 10 game. "It's too early to be early," Young said. "The added bonus for playing for a really good team is the priority is exactly where it should be, and that's racking up Ws."
