Bayern Munich loanee Michaël Cuisance has had a fine start to life at Olympique Marseille. The Strasbourg native joined the Bavarians from rival Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer of 2019, but with Joshua Kimmich, Thiago Alcantara and Leon Goretzka ahead of him in the pecking order, Cuisance struggled to hold down a regular place in Hansi Flick’s starting XI and was thus loaned-out to French league giants Marseille on a year-long deal.
The 21-year-old midfielder is enjoying life at his new club. Twelve days after joining André Villas Boas’ troops, the Frenchman was handed his first appearance in 3-1 win over Bordeaux. Since his 73-minute debut, Cuisance has collected two more starts and featured in all three games for the Phocaeans.
Although yet to taste a victory in UEFA Champions League, he has delivered wins in both of his outings in Uber eats Ligue 1.
