The New York Mets and Noah Syndergaard have avoided arbitration, the right-handed pitcher will be paid $6.0 million during the 2019 season according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today.
MLB Trade Rumors predicted that Syndergaard would get $5.9 million. He made $2,975,000 during the 2018 season. The Texan will be a free agent after the 2021 season.
Syndergaard, 26, went 13-4 with a 3.03 ERA, 2.80 FIP, 1.21 WHIP, and posted a 4.0 bWAR over 154.1 innings for the Mets in 2018.
