The Mets have reportedly reached an agreement with left-hander T.J. McFarland on a minor league deal, according to his transactions tracker on MLB.com.

McFarland put together a stellar first season with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2021. He posted the second-lowest ERA of his career (2.56) and a career-low 1.06 WHIP across 38.2 innings of work.

His second-season with the Cards wasn’t quite as successful.
