The struggling New York Mets will likely look to sell before the July 31 MLB trade deadline.
Though, don’t expect ace starter Noah Syndergaard to be changing teams. As has long been the case, New York wants to retain its ace long-term and has no real intention of trading him.
According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, Syndergaard might be available, but the asking price for his services will likely keep the All-Star off the market.
“THE PRICE, ANOTHER GM CHUCKLED, IS ‘A FEW ARMS AND A LEG.’ “THE METS ARE PLENTY AWARE OF WHAT THEY HAVE IN SYNDERGAARD: A PITCHER WITH THE GREATEST RAW STUFF IN THE GAME,” PASSAN NOTED.
