After a stint on the IL with a left quad injury, Robinson Cano has finally returned to the Mets.
Cano has been on a rehab assignment, with his most recent step in Triple-A Syracuse. But, on Saturday, he was seen with the Mets at Citi Field going through workouts in the outfield to test the quad as well as participating in batting practice.
Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen said that he was going through his pregame routine to see if he is fully recovered. He added he would be evaluated on Sunday to see if he could be activated, and luckily, that's the case.
