Adam McQuaid has missed the entire month of December after re-aggravating a groin injury, but the rugged defenseman might just make his return Monday night against the Nashville Predators. McQuaid has missed nine games in December after missing eight games last month with the injury, but he’s been practicing for more than a week without any complications or setbacks. It sounds like McQuaid will skate during warm-ups and be a game-time decision Monday. The Bruins could clearly use him against a Nashville team that plays a blue-collar, physical brand of hockey. It appears as though McQuaid would be a much better fit than rookie David Warsofsky, who has been very impressive in the first two games of his NHL career. It will be the first time McQuaid has any legitimate chance of playing, and it doesn’t appear that the extra rest around the Christmas break will be factor.
McQuaid travels to Nashville, is a 'possibility'
