Adam McQuaid hasn’t missed a day of practice since the Bruins starting skating together again on Feb. 19, but it looks like he might have to wait at least one game for his return. Claude Julien called McQuaid’s availability for Wednesday night’s game against the Buffalo Sabres as “borderline”, and instead hinted that a return Saturday afternoon against the Washington Capitals is more likely. “He’s really close. Tomorrow is a borderline decision [against Buffalo],” said Julien. “If things keep going well then by the weekend we’re keeping our fingers crossed that we have really good news. But for tomorrow [vs. Buffalo] I’d say doubtful.”
