As of recently, the Dallas Mavericks have a lot more eyes on them.
All season, we’ve been talking about this team’s need to add a secondary ball-handler. Luka Doncic is one of the best playmakers in the NBA, but he’s been in need of help.
He shouldn’t be anymore. The Mavericks just acquired Kyrie Irving from the Brooklyn Nets. Calling Irving a “secondary ball-handler” would be like calling Citizen Kane “a movie”.
Now, the Mavericks need to round out the rest of their roster. In particular, they should look to add some stout defensive players.
