Mauricio Pochettino has Sergio Aguero in his sights for a free transfer at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old striker is into the final six months of his current deal at Manchester City and has yet to agree a new deal.
It means he is free to talk to foreign clubs. Aguero has been beset by injuries which have restricted him to just nine appearances - five in the Premier League.
His capture would provide a huge boost to PSG’s attacking options with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Mauro Icardi and Angel di Maria already at Pochettino’s disposal.
PSG remain among a select few clubs able to afford what would be a sizeable wage demand from Aguero, believed to be on around £240,000-a-week.
