There was much optimism heading into Justin Fields’ first career start in the NFL, but in the end, it turned out to be a performance to forget as the Chicago Bears came away with a 26-6 road loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 3.

The Bears’ offense struggled to get much going over the course of the game thanks to the 47 total yards recorded and lowly 1-11 third-down conversion efficiency. For Fields, he found no success in the air or on the ground, as he was sacked nine times and finished with a mere one net passing yard.

In speaking during his post-game press conference, Bears head coach Matt Nagy offered his initial takeaways on his team’s performance over on the offensive end, where he noted that it was one showing to forget.
