Matt Kemp spent much of his Monday night in the Dodgers' dugout with a blue hooded sweatshirt over his jersey. Occasionally the hood would fall down to his shoulder, expose Kemp's ears to the still 62-degree air that passes for cold in these parts and force the center fielder to lift the hood back up and over his head. These are not the usual rhythms of baseball, but they ticked off the seconds of the game's longest active iron-man streak - 399 consecutive games - as the Dodgers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-1 on Monday in front of an announced 24,312 at Dodger Stadium.
