Earlier this week Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria announced the dismissal of long-time exec Larry Beinfest. Now the team has announced the final steps in the front-office restructuring. Michael Hill who's served as the Marlins' vice-president and GM since 2007 has been promoted to president of baseball operations. In a related move Dan Jennings who had been serving as the team's assistant GM and vice-president of player development has been installed as the new GM. CBSSports.com's Danny Knobler had previously reported that Jennings was tabbed for the role.
