The Detroit Tigers are hunting for bargains for the bullpen again. The Tigers have agreed to terms with right-handed relief pitcher Neftali Feliz, the Tigers announced Saturday morning. Feliz was in the clubhouse when it opened about three hours before the game and is available to pitch today. The Tigers optioned right-hander Jeff Ferrell to Triple-A Toledo to make room on the roster for Feliz. Feliz, who racked up 72 saves in the 2010 and 2011 seasons as the closer for the Texas Rangers, is 1-2 with a 4.58 ERA and a 1.678 WHIP. Feliz cleared waivers after the Rangers designated him for assignment on July 3. After clearing waivers, Feliz declined an assignment to the minor leagues and became a free agent. Feliz has solid numbers for his career but has had injury issues for the past few seasons. He is 13-10 with a 2.69 ERA, a 1.056 WHIP and 93 saves. He has six saves this season.
