The Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers made a trade that sent Isaiah Thomas to L.A., and Washington Wizards forward Markieff Morris has an opinion on why that happened. When asked about his reaction after hearing about the trade, Morris made reference to how outspoken Thomas had been once he started playing for the Cavaliers after returning from a hip injury, per Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington. It’s an intriguing comment from Morris, to say the least. But it doesn’t come out of anywhere. Since coming back from the injury, Thomas struggled mightily with the Cavaliers, and that translated into the team losing a host of games.
