After Thursday's win over Charlotte, Jason Terry had mentioned perception that Mavericks' ownership had put more emphasis on this summer than this season. That's a point of debate, but Terry's ultimate point was that the Mavericks in the locker room have no intentions of bailing on this season. And owner Mark Cuban said he was not uncomfortable with Terry's comments, which are not uncommon for a player in a last year of his contract when he doesn't get an extension. But that's the way Cuban has always done business. No player, not even Dirk Nowitzki, has gotten an extension before he's finished with his previous deal.
