Pat O'Hara has coached Adam Sandler, Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for roles in football movies. Next, he'll turn his attention to Marcus Mariota. The Titans have hired O'Hara as their quarterbacks coach, an NFL source confirmed to The Tennessean on Friday night, after he spent the last three seasons as an offensive assistant with the Texans. O’Hara, who played quarterback for 16 seasons in the NFL, World League and Arena Football League, has also done consulting work in movies, helping to coordinate football action scenes, according to his IMDB bio. His credits include "The Longest Yard," "Invincible," and "We Are Marshall," and he has appeared in movies including "The Waterboy," "Any Given Sunday" and "The Game Plan." Before turning pro, O'Hara played quarterback at Southern California, behind Rodney Peete. He was expected to start as a junior, but a knee injury ended his season before it began.
