Manchester United are preparing a £12m bid for Galatasaray's Wesley Sneijder in January. The Dutch midfielder has been linked with a move to both United and Chelsea in recent days with Sneijder playing down the possibility of a move to Stamford Bridge. But reports in Turkey suggest that United are set to test Galatasaray's resolve with a £12m offer. The Turkish language version of Eurosport report that United are ready to double the bid they made for Sneijder during the most recent transfer window. It is thought that Sneijder has a £13m release clause in his contract but United hope to lure the 29-year-old to Old Trafford without paying that figure.
