Inter Milan have admitted that reported Manchester United target Joao Mario is unhappy at the San Siro. However, the Nerazzurri remain unwilling to sell the Portugal international, despite his desire for more playing time. Mario, 24, cost £40million in 2016, but has made just 11 appearances for Inter this term. He has been largely used as a substitute by Luciano Spalletti, with Croatian international Marcelo Brozovic preferred. Jose Mourinho has supposedly earmarked the Euro 2016 winner for a January move, with suggestions from Italy that Henrikh Mkhitaryan could go the other way.
