Manchester United fear they could lose Jose Mourinho to Paris Saint-Germain next summer as he feels he cannot compete with Manchester City. Mourinho initially fuelled rumours that he could swap Manchester for the French capital during a TV interview in France where he waxed lyrical about the Ligue 1 giants. And, according to The Sun, there is a growing concern among the United top brass that the lure of the Qatar-backed outfit could prove too much for the Portuguese. The fear stems from a reported feeling of inferiority — specifically in terms of Mourinho competing with Pep Guardiola's superstars, who are setting the Premier League alight. Guardiola's side are the early pace-setters in the English top flight this term and Mourinho feels he does not have the resources to outstrip his city counterparts.
