According to recent reports by French publication La Provence (via CalcioMercato), both Manchester City and AC Milan are monitoring the situation of Olympique Marseille centre-back Boubacar Kamara.

According to the reports, the Ligue 1 club have set an asking price of €40million (£35.7million) for the 20-year-old, however, L’Equipe (via MilanNews) has claimed that the defender would very much like to remain at Marseille beyond this summer, in order to play Champions League football with Les Olympiens next season.

In terms of a move to Manchester City, while Pep Guardiola has made it clear that he is in the market this summer for two new central defenders, the club are currently waiting to hear the verdict of their appeal against a two-year ban from European football, which could well affect the attractiveness of joining the club in this transfer window.
