Jack Grealish will hold crunch talks with Aston Villa chief executive Christian Purslow on his return from holiday.

Grealish is away on an end of season break with his girlfriend but is due back for pre-season training later this month.

Manchester United remain interested in the England prospect and could step up their interest if they continued to be frustrated chasing £100million-rated Jadon Sancho.

But ambitious Villa co-owner Nassef Sawiris has huge plans and has slapped a prohibitive £80m price tag on their uncapped captain.

Grealish, 24, has three years left on his Villa deal worth around £65,000-a-week at his boyhood club.

But the star would welcome a move to Old Trafford if they firm up their long-standing interest and Grealish knows Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is also an admirer.
