Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward will have the chance to look at reported transfer target Hakan Calhanoglu up close in the Europa League after Manchester United were drawn against AC Milan.

Calhanoglu's future is still up in the air with just months to go until he becomes a free agent.

The Turkish playmaker, 27, is out of contract at the end of the season and has attracted the attention of numerous clubs around Europe; including United.

The Red Devils currently have Bruno Fernandes in the number ten role, and it seems highly unlikely he'll be unseated from his position in the team any time soon.

But regardless, United are interested in moving for the free agent, who would represent a fairly cheap deal even once wages and sign-on fees are accounted for.
