Manchester United’s plot to sign Callum Wilson from Bournemouth during the January transfer window has come to light ahead of their Premier League showdown with Newcastle.

Manchester United plan to tempt Bournemouth star Callum Wilson into joining in January by using the England national team, reports say.

The Red Devils are keen to sign a striker when the transfer window reopens in the New Year, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side short in that department.

Manchester United sold Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan during the summer, leaving them with just Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood to depend on for goals.
