Manchester United are set to battle rivals City this summer for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

Ndombele has starred for the Ligue 1 side this season, and a number of Europe's elite clubs have been regulars at Parc OL, keeping tabs on the 22-year-old.

That includes the two Manchester clubs, with Pep Guardiola having praised the France international after City's 2-2 draw with Lyon in the Champions League in November.

City have been keeping tabs on Ndombele for over 12 months, but now Le10 Sport say United have also moved for a player valued at €80million by OL president Jean-Michel Aulas.
