According to Portuguese newspaper The Game, Southampton have been told to up their initial £11m bid to £16m if they are to land Argentine starlet Rojo. New Saints boss Ronald Koeman is acutely aware of his need to bolster his squad after seeing Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Luke Shaw, Calum Chambers and Dejan Lovren leave St. Mary's this summer. And having generated over £90m from the exodus, an extra £5m valuation shouldn't deter the Dutchman from pursuing the coveted defender. Rojo is open to leaving his domestic side Sporting Lisbon, and admitted he would consider his options from the 30th July.
