Manchester United have put Burnley keeper Nick Pope on their summer shopping list.

England ace Pope, 28, is being targeted by United as boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaerplans to shake things up between the posts.

United's number one David de Gea is now back in Manchester after attending the birth of his child in Spain - and is expected to resume in goal next weekend when his COVID quarantine is complete.

But United are prepared to sell the Spanish star, their highest earner on £370,000 per week, at the right price in the close season.

And while 'reserve' keeper Dean Henderson has made 17 appearances this season, the feeling inside Old Trafford is the 22-year-old is too inexperienced to be an outright first-choice - for now.
