Manchester United and Manchester City are set to lock horns for Portuguese football’s latest top young talent.

Benfica’s Florentino Luis is on the radar of both clubs and a transfer scrap could be in store next summer.

That’s according to Record, who claim Pep Guardiola has instructed his scouts to keep a close eye on the 20-year-old.

City were reportedly weighing up a £55m bid for the midfielder in the summer, as PSG were knocked back by the Portuguese side.

They may go back in for him at the end of this season thought as they look to replace Fernandinho, 34.
