Juventus are willing to up their pursuit to bring Paul Pogba back to Turin this summer by offering Manchester United the services of Brazilian winger Douglas Costa in exchange.

Juve have been on alert since Pogba voiced his unhappiness at Old Trafford following last season, when Barcelona were heavily linked with a move.

The Italian giants will look to pursue the World Cup winner again, and will sanction the move of Costa in the opposite direction in order to get their man, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport.

Their front page on Friday carried the headline: 'The Bianconeri insist on the French world champion.'

It was at Juve that Pogba made his name in European football, after departing United on a free deal following the expiration of his contract.

Then manager Sir Alex Ferguson was said to be unwilling to bow to the demands of agent Mino Raiola and pay the developing Pogba extortionate wages.
