Jeremy Guthrie allowed four runs on six hits in four innings Friday. He battled a tough Philadelphia Phillies lineup and a swirling wind. He threw 53 pitches, 33 for strikes. Here are some of his quotes on the outing: "I felt fine. I felt fine out there. … I've been trying to work quickly, trying to keep the pitch count down and be aggressive. And that's something I've been able to do for the most part in all three of my outings." On the wind: "It doesn't factor into what I do. You always try to keep the ball down, so whether the wind's blowing out or not, you try to get the ball to stay down and get ground balls." On Raul Ibanez's wind-aided homer in the first: "I did not think it was going to be a home run, but at the same time, you have to hit the ball well for to go out to center field. He put a good swing on it. I fell behind in the count, and he was able to swing aggressively."
