Joffrey Lupul gave a little shout-out to Leafs Nation at Scotiabank Place Saturday night. While getting the gears from Senators fans during the player introductions, the Toronto winger reached up, smiled and gave the logo on his chest a little tug. "That was just for our fans, maybe a little bit," Lupul said upon completion of the all-star skills competition. "I know they like that type of stuff. I knew I was going to get booed. Dion (Phaneuf) went right before me, and I knew I was going to get it, too." Phaneuf had a blast of 97.9 mph in the hardest-shot challenge, but it would not be enough for him to advance. Phil Kessel displayed his sharp shooting prowess by plucking four targets in five shots during the challenge relay. He had to work while being booed, too. Lupul was eliminated from the shootout when Jonathan Quick made a great arm save off him, snuffing a nifty deke.
