The hype remains uber high on Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic. The guys over at Bristol recently had a poll about who they think will win the 2018-19 NBA Rookie of the Year, and the result was overwhelmingly in favor of the Slovenian hotshot.
The poll was not done in Slovenia, but Doncic nearly got double the points received by Phoenix Suns center and No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft, Deandre Ayton. Whereas Doncic got 126 points, Ayton came in only in second place with 68. Jaren Jackson Jr. of the Memphis Grizzlies was third with 23, while Cleveland Cavaliersguard Collin Sexton was fourth with 19. Rounding out the top eight are Wendell Carter (16) of the Chicago Bulls, Marvin Bagley III (15) of the Sacramento Kings, Kevin Knox (15) of the New York Knicks, and Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks (7).
