Syracuse football defensive ends Amir Ealey and Qaadir Sheppard have been dismissed from the program for a violation of team policy, according to SU athletics spokesman Mike Morrison. Their dismissal comes a little more than two months after both were suspended indefinitely following a second failed drug test. Sheppard, a Bronx native, played in nine games as a true freshman last season, recording one tackle and one interception. Ealey, of Coatesville, Pa., appeared in seven games during his true freshman season last year, mostly on special teams.
