LSU made national headlines back in 2012 when Les Miles extended an offer to Dylan Moses the summer before his eighth grade year at Baton Rouge (La.) U-High. Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron have found another youngster they feel is deserving of an offer in eighth grade quarterback Zadock Dinkelmann from Somerset (Texas). Dinkelmann's uncle, former BYU legend Ty Detmer, confirmed with 247Sports that Dinkelmann, who is part of the 2018 class, has committed to the Tigers. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Dinkelmann is the youngest known commitment for LSU since the age of the internet. Sources on the LSU side say that Cameron has never seen an eighth grade quarterback with Dinkelmann's physical tools at this stage of his development. Cameron also likes the fact that Dinkelmann plays for head coach Sonny Detmer.
