The Louisville women's basketball team has paused all team-related activities after a positive COVID-19 test within the program.
The pause, which comes after contact tracing due to the positive test, has forced the Cardinals to postpone Sunday's home game against North Carolina. Louisville, which is No. 2 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll, just defeated Duke 73-49 to open ACC play on Wednesday.
“We are adhering to the ACC and university protocols and will monitor the matter day-to-day,” athletic director Vince Tyra said.
