While Devils coach Pete DeBoer keeps talking about the team needing to find a way to "generate another goal a night," Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello continues to search for a way to get that extra goal via the trade route. Lamoriello’s quest for a left wing to play on his top line apparently has led to him expressing interest in the Flames’ Mike Cammalleri. The 31-year-old Cammalleri returned Saturday from a concussion that had sidelined him since Jan. 11, and the Flames are seeing what they can get in return for the potential unrestricted free agent. The 5-foot-9 left wing is in the final season of a five-year, $30 million contract ($6 million cap hit) and has struggled this season with just 13 goals and eight assists in 38 games. The CBC’s Elliotte Friedman first reported the Devils’ interest in Cammalleri.
