The Pistons' comeback came up one point short as Detroit fell, 98-97, to the Lakers today at the Palace. Kyle Singler's inbound pass to the rim for Andre Drummond (nine points, 11 rebounds, four blocks) was defensed by Pau Gasol to end the game. Gasol led the Lakers with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Kobe Bryant added 18 points and Earl Clark had 17 points and 10 boards. Nash chipped in 11 points and 10 assists and Antawn Jamison socred 10 off the bench. Greg Monroe led Detroit with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Will Bynum had 18 points and 10 assists while Singler added 11 points. Charlie Villanueva scored 10 points, all in the fourth quarter and Brandon Knight had 10 points and seven assists.
