Tennessee Titans cornerback Logan Ryan has officially been placed in the league’s concussion protocol, according to the franchise. In addition, the Titans have also revealed that defensive end DaQuan Jones will have surgery on his torn biceps and has been placed on injured reserve. Ryan suffered the concussion during the Titans’ win over the rival Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon and exited the game. The 26-year-old is in his first year with Tennessee after signing a three-year, $30 million contract with the franchise back in March. Through 12 games this season, Ryan has registered 52 total tackles, one forced fumble and 11 pass defenses in helping the Titans develop into the seventh-best passing defense in the league in 2017-18. The Berlin, New Jersey native, who played his collegiate football at Rutgers, was originally selected by the New England Patriots in the third round (83rd pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.
