Liverpool remain hopeful of reaching a contract solution with Emre Can despite an approach from Juventus for the Germany international. Can has one year left on contract at Anfield and has yet to agree new terms with Liverpool. Juventus are interested in signing the 23-year-old but Liverpool are continuing discussions and would be prepared to let his deal run down if necessary. They still intend to add another midfielder this summer though question marks have been raised about where Can fits into Jurgen Klopp's plans once Jordan Henderson is also fully fit. Liverpool will pick up negotiations with Roma this week as they look to reach agreement over a £35million deal for Egypt winger Mo Salah.
