Reports in December claimed Tello was on the verge of sealing a switch to Liverpool on-loan for the rest of the current campaign. The Spanish winger, 22, has seen first-team opportunities limited this season at Barcelona making only two starts under new manager Gerardo Martino. And having failed in his attempts to bring Tello to Anfield in the summer, boss Brendan Rodgers is now thought to be close to agreeing a deal with the Nou Camp outfit. Bookmakers have installed the Reds as the team in the lead to secure Tello before February, offering odds as low as 1/3. Arsenal has also been linked with midfielder but have been rated as rank outsiders to pull off a deal, with 50/1 bringing offered currently.
