Liverpool CEO Peter Moore admitted that he cannot guarantee Philippe Coutinho's future, declaring: "I don't have a crystal ball." The Brazilian playmaker was the subject of three transfer offers from Barcelona during the summer, with Coutinho also handing in a transfer request in a bid to force a move to Camp Nou. However the Reds remained umoved, with owners FSG issuing a statement declaring he was going nowhere. Since then, Coutinho has knuckled down and has recently been in irresistible form for Jurgen Klopp's men. The 25-year-old put Brighton to the sword with a sparkling display in a thumping 5-1 away win at the weekend, before captaining the side and scoring a hat-trick in the 7-0 Champions League stroll against Spartak Moscow.
