Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp insists Liverpool must do all they can to keep Emre Can at the club - and once more declared Daniel Sturridge is going nowhere. German international Can is heading towards the last six months of his deal, and the Reds are still some way from agreeing terms over a new contract. The midfielder, a doubt for this weekend’s clash with Chelsea, wants a release clause in his deal but the Merseysider’s are reticent to hand him one. As such, amid interest from the likes of Juventus, Can is looking increasingly likely to depart on a free transfer next summer.
