Fulham youngster Harvey Elliott is set to join Liverpool this summer, according to reports.

The 16-year-old cannot sign a professional contract until he turns 17 next April and rejected the chance to take up a scholarship at Fulham. German side RB Leipzig and European giants Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain have been courting Elliott, but the Telegraph claim Liverpool have won the race for the highly-rated Englishman.

Liverpool will have to pay Fulham a large compensation fee for poaching Elliott, who is the youngest player ever to appear in the Premier League after coming on as a substitute against Wolves last season at the age of 16 years and 30 days.
