The Lions won't have their star return man for Thursday's Thanksgiving showdown with the Minnesota Vikings, but they do have plenty of options to replace him. Lions coach Jim Caldwell said Wednesday that either Golden Tate or TJ Jones will handle punt returns, and Ameer Abdullah could handle kick returns while Jamal Agnew is sidelined with a knee injury. Agnew suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Lions' win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday and has not practice this week. He currently leads the NFL with a 16.8-yard punt-return average, has scored two return touchdowns this year and also has become a specialty weapon on offense in recent weeks who's helped open up the downfield passing game. "You watch the special teams tape, and if I was the defensive coordinator I’d pay attention (to him), too," quarterback Matthew Stafford said. "He’s electric when he gets the ball in his hands. He’s done a nice job for us every time he’s touched it. And he’s built a nice little package in our offense.”
