Now that he’s in Detroit, Michael Brockers is fixing to stay a while. The new Lions defensive tackle, acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams this week, has agreed to a new multi-year contract extension with the team.

Brockers came to Detroit with two seasons left on his three-year, $24 million contract he signed with the Rams last offseason. He was scheduled to receive a salary of $6.5 million in 2021 and $7.5 million in 2022, but none of that base salary was guaranteed.
